What i meant when I said that, was you never do what I say, cuz you got
your own body odor to deal with;
you got this habit you gotta kick; you
'n me used to sing the same songs,
but we was never, ever, in tune.
But now after all these years, i find that the roach i smoked to the
short, you stubbed out and the black mark is still there.
Still, as you still stand under that street light on Convent Ave, waiting to catch a cold or a trick, I love you still,
like I was sixteen all over again.
